Description
Rare hightop AWD Chevy Express for sale. Open to reasonable offers. Was just getting to the fun part of building it out to be a camper van but life started going in a different direction and I cant justify keeping it now. This thing started out as a passenger van for a school district in Chico, California. Government owned until I bought it at ~118000 miles. I have since changed the oil every 3-5k miles so this thing has been beautifully maintained. You can tell when you drive it as well, thing is smoooth. Just installed new break pads on all four wheels less than 100 miles ago as well. There are some dings from the school district's time with it unfortunately. Mainly a couple dents in the rear bumper/door and one on the passenger side. All of the un-fun stuff has been done already and it is basically a blank canvas for whoever wants to start building their dream rig! Heres whats happened so far: -24" High top professionally installed by HighTopVans around April of last year. allows average height adults to fully stand up inside the van! also adds a massive cargo area above the driver/passenger area. -Maxxair fan installed in high top professionally at the same time. -200 Watts of solar panels installed on top, will include with charge controller so you are ready to go off grid. -Rear Seats deleted, along with Rear climate control module. (A/C block plate for rear lines installed professionally and refrigerant re installed to non-rear hvac spec) -Floor fully insulated with 1.5in rigid foam board, subfloor installed on top -Interior walls, doors and ceiling fully sound deadened and insulated with 3m Thinsulate insulation. High end moisture and mold resistant insulation that does fantastic in vans. Have plenty of extra I will include. Just incase you decide you want to insulate front cabin area. -Custom truss and furring strips installed in hightop to allow for easy installation of ceiling and wall panels without worry of drilling through fiberglass. Also allows lots of room for wiring to hide in ceiling as well! -Fresh Audio system upgrade with Carplay head unit, amplifier, upgraded speakers, and a 1080p backup camera. Was being built as a snowboarding rig, so very well insulated and ready to keep you warm. I insulated the rear most side windows for that reason, but can be removed no problem if you would rather have the windows. I have some build goodies I may be willing to throw in as well. I basically had everything together and was ready to go nuts on this thing before I realized I wouldn't be able to hang on to it. My loss your gain! I put my blood sweat and tears into the functional boring stuff now its up to you to finish this thing off with your dream layout. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
