Description

Beautiful vintage piece to repurpose... Fire-King "Philbe" round casserole LID ONLY with round knob. Rare, sapphire blue color. Circa 1930s. Made in the USA. In excellent condition; no chips or cracks. Measures 7.25" in diameter. From a smoke-free home. About the Philbe pattern - Philbe is one of the rarest Fire-King patterns, having been made only in 1937 and 1938. Of the four colors produced, the transparent blue (sapphire blue) is the most prized. The blue is very subtle, but when viewed at an angle, it reveals itself as a lovely pale, icy shade.
