Description
Available now a vintage “V-leg Case Study Daybed” by Modernica circa early 2000’s. Canvas snap bottom was in production from 2000-2009. The Case Study Daybed is influenced by the designs of the Case Study House program (1949) sponsored by John Entenza, editor and publisher of Arts and Architecture magazine. A sleek solution to small spaces, the Case Study Daybed adapts to any room as a single piece or may be lined up to create a multiple-unit seating system. A classic mid-century design made to last a lifetime. Made in U.S.A. Remove bolsters for quick conversion to a single bed. Mattress/seat cushion attaches to frame by straps with snap closure. Covers removable for dry-cleaning. Overall good vintage condition. Bottom cushion has several small holes. Left corner of plywood has some damage. Upholstery is great for use as is or could get new covers made! This particular sofa daybed can retail upwards of $4k on various vintage sites. 6’L x 26”T x 32.5”W floor to seat 15”T with cushion. Pick up in South Portland Johns Landing neighborhood or local curbside delivery available.
