I'm honestly don't know how old this cedar closet is. The cedar smell has faded, but you just have to get a very low grade sandpaper and resand it and the smell is fantastic. We're empty nesters and are starting to down scale. The only problem with it is the clasp that keeps it closed. Easy fix.
