ADS L810 Vintage speakers

These speakers are in amazing condition, and look brand new. Finish on outside looks great and speakers sound perfect. All original parts and nothing needs to be replaced or repaired. These A/D/S L-810 speakers are in amazing condition and sound sublime. To my tastes, the ADS (Analog Digital Systems) speakers developed in the 1980s are the best sounding speaker designs in their history. In that era, ADS was the best bang for the buck in terms of mid to high end loudspeaker systems, and many people today still feel that these A/D/S dome tweeter & midrange drivers are THE BEST audiophile tweeters & midranges that you can find at any cost. These tweeters are a marvel of precision engineering – incredibly precise, very efficient, can handle high power and have superb dispersion characteristics. All the tweeters were designed and built by ADS and - besides the secret sticky doping compound on the surface of the tweeter dome - they also incorporated a precision ‘single wind’ on the voice coil and an air suspension (as opposed to ferro fluid dampened) voice coil structure. Have you wondered why ADS tweeters still sound as clear and crisp as the day they were made more than 30 years ago while many other tweeters from the same era sound either dull or diminished? More often than not it is the dessication of the ferro fluid compound used in most tweeters over the past 25 years that is the culprit. This liquid starts to become more of a paste than a liquid over time, and older tweeters become muffled and dull. ADS does not have that long term problem.
