Mother's Day is Almost Here! What could be a more perfect gift than a pie tin clock? Every time she looks at it she will be remembering her favorite child!  This is an embossed vintage "Porth Pies" metal pie tin (pie pan) which has been upcycled (repurposed) into a wall clock, hand painted then creatively aged. Back in the day, bakeries embossed metal pie tins with their names and once a pie was purchased, carried home, and thoroughly enjoyed, that empty pie tin could be returned to the bakery for a $ 0.10 deposit (a deposit which was often used towards more pie)! Many of these old pie tins dating from those times were often heavier than those made now; made of steel and were beautiful  - this particular pie tin dates back to the 1940's and today, we've allowed them to be beautiful once again in the form of these clocks.   This blue and white clock measures 9" across and hangs via the hanger within its new movement and requires 1 AA battery (battery is NOT included). Each clock is unique; no two are exactly alike. They make wonderful gifts and are a perfect addition to your own kitchen and other home décor.   This clock is available for porch pickup in Washington, Illinois (preferred)  - or -  can be shipped within the contiguous US for an additional $11.99 fee.  Payment in cash if picked up or via Paypal if shipped.
