With out a doubt one of the top 10 best sounding stereo receivers from its era. The 8080DB is a combination of power and sophistication in a stereo AM/FM receiver. It outputs a stable 85 watts per channel and has a built in Dolby processor, triple tone controls and four accurate meters. All the problematic “transistors” have been changed. All control pots have been cleaned with deoxit and lubricated with faderlube for smooth controls and crisp sound. Input jacks have been cleaned with D100L to improve and protect contact. Lamps have been upgraded to LED’s for a nicer look and lower heat production. Every function and all inputs work as they should. Watch it performing on our YouTube channel called retrodiggs.
