Description

Early 1967 Martin D-18. Includes original purchase receipt and hang tags. Some old personal letters from the original owner. This one has the typical specs for the year. Tortoiseshell pickguard. Small maple bridge plate. Spruce top with mahogany back and sides. The guitar come switch its original case. It’s been given a recent neck reset and bridge reglue. It sounds superb. It has wonderful sustain and that classic 60s Martin sound. Although it is overall it is a nice cosmetic shape and has a lot of collectibility appeal and hang tags, it has had some repair work on edge of the body towards the bottom where it took a bump in shipping.
