Vintage mid-century secretary desk, made in the U.K. by Beaver & Tapley circa 1970's. This piece is unusual in that it is quite shallow, suitable for use in an entryway or hallway. It features a locking dropdown door that serves as a writing surface or laptop space, with cubbies inside for smaller items, and there is open storage space at the bottom behind sliding doors. It's a nice piece in very good vintage condition with minor wear from age and use. The original key is intact, and it locks and unlocks easily. 30" wide, 11" deep, 40" high, 28" desk surface height.
