Up for sale is a modified Nintendo Gameboy DMG-01 Original with washed yellow backlight, bivert, pro sound audio, real glass replacement screen cover, and LTC1799 precision oscillator toggle-able pitch control. Backlight, bivert, and glass screens are all directly from Hand Held Legend and are of excellent quality. What you see is what you will get! Refer to the pictures to see what is included! Shell is hand washed and parts are extensively cleaned. External speaker remains in tact and in working function! Rundown of Mods: Backlight: See the screen in nightclubs and dark performance environments. I chose washed yellow because I believe it suits the original DMG the best and doesn't wear on the eyes. Added bivert mod for better picture quality and contrast. Brightness control is a dial potentiometer in the bottom of the Gameboy. Toggle-able Pitch Mod: The pitch mod can be toggled on and off with the switch at the top right of the Gameboy to change between the original clock and the mod. This can also be used to change the clock speed if needed for games, however it is optimized for usage with LSDJ. The potentiometer in the bottom left hand corner can be used to alter the pitch and speed of the Gameboy's playback. This can range from crushingly slow, to hyperspeed, to anywhere in between in just a matter of seconds! The speed is in your hands! Pro Sound: Bypassed through the original audio jack! No need to drill an extra aux port. This way it looks cleaner on the bottom. Proper impedance for speakers (as opposed to headphones), better bass, cleaner signal for playback and recording.
