The chair is constructed of solid wood with beautifully turned spindles and legs. Chair especially unique are the metal claw feet gripping glass ball casters—a highly sought-after design element in antique furniture, often referred to as “lion’s paw glass ball feet.” These were popular in the late 1800s to early 1900s.
