The VIKIO range hood is beautiful, built sturdy and comes with some cool features. The gesture controls is actually handy and not just a gimmick. Swiping left reduces fan speed while swiping right increases fan speed. The lights are always activated when unit is turned on from gesture control. The lights are bright! Compared to my microwave/ range combo, the VIKIO seems to be way quieter even on its high fan speed setting (lev. 3). I would highly recommend the VIKIO range hood to a friend.
