Same one on eBay is $950 this is a super rare piece (can ship) Offering a superb Antique/Vintage Chinese Bronze of KWAN YIN (Guan Yin, Kuan Yin) Bodhisattva Statue. Her features and expression are the epitome of Serenity and Beauty. She is the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. Standing on Lotus and Dragon. Dragon-- being the ancient symbol for high spirituality, wisdom and strength. Exquisite, crisp detail throughout. The artist has depicted the rhythmic flow of her garment, the sublime elegance of her presence, the nobility of the dragon. In very good condition. No cracks. The bronze has a very warm patina and lustre. Shows minimal patination, discoloration commensurate with age. Approx. dimensions. 9 1/2" h. Base itself 5 1/2" by 2 1/2". Rare depiction of Kwan Yin with Dragon. Dramatic portrayal.
