1860s Antique Childs Wood Crib produced by Steinman & Meyer furniture company based in Cincinnati, OH. This bed is in really good condition for being over 150 years old. It is a two piece bedstead with the upper portion being the bed, and the lower portion is the base with wheels (it does come apart) this bedstead measures 37” long, 20” wide and 38” tall. The only issue I see is 2 of the wood spindles on the side of the bed is missing, besides that it looks really nice. I believe this bed still has the original finish as well. If you collect this type of furniture you should come see it, it is priced very reasonable and I’ve seen child’s bedsteads from this era selling at much higher prices. These make great potted plant stands as well. The makers stamp is still on both sides of the frame and the patent is dated 1(contact info removed). I researched this company and it opened in 1850 and the last reference i can find was in 1905. I am located in centerville oh near far hills and (whipp) of you want to see it.
