Nivico JVC Model 5003 Stereo Receiver - All Controls Cleaned/Lubricated - Fully Functioning

Description

Nivico JVC Model 5003 Stereo. Quite a cool fun little unit. Looks like it's from about 1968 or so and is 50 watts per channel into 8 ohm. Has tone controls with 5 position eq sliders, loudness, low and high filter. I gently blew out the inside with clean compressed air and cleaned all the controls with Deoxit d5 and Faderlube f5. I cleaned the tuner with CRC Quick Dry Electronic Cleaner and lubed all the pivot points of the tuner with Max Pro Electronic Lubricant. I hand rubbed the Walnut Veneer cabinent with Howard Restor a Finish Walnut followed up with Howard Feed and Wax. The cabinent looks really good and is in great condition. The faceplate is in equally good condition. It4 sounds great with all of it's functions working. FM tuner is extremely strong hardly needing an antenna. Has some low level constant static that's hard to hear and does not increase with volume. I test quite thoroughly and listen closely. You may not notice it. Asking $300.
