Description
Norman Rockwell's Blacksmith Shop also known as Blacksmith's Boy- Heel and Toe limited edition lithograph print created by Norman Rockwell in 1971,the original painting from which the print is derived from was in November 2nd 1940 addition of the Saturday evening post double page interior illustration, the artwork depicts a Horseshoe making contest between two farriers, original painting was donated by Norman Rockwell to The Berkshire museum Pittsfield Massachusetts in 1966, the print is hand signed and numbered 269/375 it is a very nice framed and triple matted lithograph print, the print showing is 24 in by 9 in,total with frame 32 in by 16 and 1/4 in, the frame is wormwood, the print has shifted on the left side while looking at it has perfect light spot this is easily fixed,I won't do it myself, my art collection is extremely large they do not hang on the wall they are kept in temperature controlled room and no light is in contact with any painting or print, the back has a piece of paper that has some tears in it a lot of the lithograph prints have no backing at all in the backing, can be replaced very easily, you can take it to any frame shop and have it replaced or I can have it replaced at the expense of the buyer I will not charge for taking it to and from the frame shop, this lithograph print is a great addition to your collection or just as a decoration in your home.I will continue to put more of my artwork up plus other collections that I have if you're looking for something just ask I may have it,thank you for looking.
