GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS LENTOGRAPH A Lentograph from Victor Anderson 3D Studios Inc., Port Chester N.Y. $50.00. $45.00 Now $40.00. obo. Have had this for a long time and I cannot confirm exact dates of production of these Lentographs, but I believe they were from the 1960s. This is a good example of Lentograph work. The colors in the picture are crisp, the image very detailed, the frame dark woodgrain with gold inner edging. I think it is the original frame that it came with. Paper protection on back mostly intact. Not perfect. In this nursery rhyme snapshot, you see the three bears returning to their home sweet home to discover they have been the victims of a home invasion. You see Papa Bear desparately trying to console poor Baby Bear as he mourns the loss of his tummy-filling porridge and his favorite kitchen chair. On the second floor landing, you see the culprit, ol' Goldi herself, peering through the rail at her handiwork. Great details. The longer you look, the more you feel you could just walk right into the Bear household and have a seat (just pick the right chair, for heaven's sake!) You can see their 3 TVs in the background, and Papa Bear's duck collection, along with Baby Bear's artwork on the wall, toy train, and butterfly net, and Mama's favorite quilt over the rail and flower arrangement she's surely responsible for at the foot of the stair. If you're a collector of nursery rhyme memorabilia, Lentographs, or framed 60's era art, this is a great addition to your collection. It would also be a great item for a young child's room - guaranteed hours of attention seeing those bears brought to life from the stories you've told. Picture - In great shape.
