Saint Anne, the mother of the Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus, is a figure of great significance in Christianity Saint Anne is the patron saint of unmarried women, housewives, women in labor, grandmothers, childless people, equestrians, lace makers, miners, the poor, and seamstresses. The most well-known patronage of St. Anne is that of grandmothers. Certainly as the mother of the Virgin Mary and the grandmother of Jesus Christ, St. Feast Day: St. Anne's feast day is celebrated on July 26th The piece was acquired from the Chapel of the estate of a recently deceased priest in Palm Beach, Florida. The statue measures approximately 11.5"H x 3.5"w x 3.5"D - The statue is hand painted she is vintage from the 1930s, is lovely.
