Chicken Coop On 4’x8’ Trailer

I am a retired building contractor who must take on projects like this to get by. This is a 3'x6' Chicken Coop on a 4'x8' Trailer. I just built this chicken coop in sections, and it is lightly insulated to keep its temperature above freezing. It is intended to house 6 to 12 chickens. The top-roosting area has a 2'x3' door that has a sturdy, removable screen to keep the chickens in when the door is open, to be able to get into the upper roosting area, and to provide ventilation in the summer. Below the roosting area is a cleanout section with drawers to catch their droppings, which can be removed and cleaned from the outside. The lower section has a middle run and seven egg laying boxes that can be accessed from two long doors on either side of the coop. An add-on fenced enclosure 3'x8' connects to the back of the coop and trailer, providing a run for the chickens. It has a second door at the other end to allow for a larger caged area or to let the chickens free range. The lower door on the coop can be opened in the morning and closed at night to keep the chickens safe from predators. The Trailer is not licensed but has lights to get it to your location. It is ideal for someone with a large yard or farm because it can be easily moved from one location to another. The roof has been hinged to allow for its raisin to gain access to the interior roosting area with the removal of a few screws that hold the roof in place.
