This set would be great for someone just moving up off of a 3/4th size, or a teen/adult looking to start lessons or upgrade from a rental. Violin, bow, and case recently assessed and appraised at Andrew's Violin Shop in Mesa, AZ. Make and original seller: Austin's Violin Shop in Sugar Grove, Illinois I purchased everything in 2012 Size: full size, 4/4 size Current value: Violin: 1,500-$2k Bow: $1k-$1,500 Case originally purchased for $500 I am selling the entire set for $2,500 OBO, willing to negotiate. I am also including purple rosin, a purple shoulder rest (might need to be replaced due to broken rubber), a stack of sheet music, and a few music books. Case is a bit dirty and needs a good cleaning. It is otherwise in great condition, all parts work and it zips, snaps, and velcros shut. It also locks with a key (key included). The bow has a minor varnish blemish. Andrew's Violins verified that the bow is NOT cracked, and any damage is cosmetic. The bow could stand to get a new re-haring, though. Violin is in great shape, one-piece back, strings in good condition, fine finishes.
