I am selling my large black 2015 Surly Krampus ops with some accessories included. Asking 900 OBO The color scheme is neon evangelion genesis; not the joker. I’m a nerd; not an incel. This bike has had many iterations over the years, but this particular year was a transition from rigid single speed to optional gears. The bike was my touring, mountain biking, and then eventual commuter. Originally, I set it up as a one by and then a single speed geared for mountain biking for the Boise foothills. I then converted it to a commuter by changing out the front cassette commuting and mostly flat roads in Boise area. I upgraded the brakes to shimano deore xl hydraulics about 5 years ago, and the front will need bleeding soon. Last tech let an air bubble get in the line. This bike is amazing for bike packing and touring and mountain biking single track. It is not an ideal commuter, but it’s always a fun ride. Along with the bike, I will be giving an additional set of WTB tires and stems, and Relevate design frame bag sized specifically for this frame free of charge with the bike. You won’t be getting the stem pictured on the bike but one of the three in the pic. The steering tube was left long, so as to give me an option for changing the height of my handlebar, depending on what I was using the frame for. You’ll also be getting an additional brake rotor for the front brake. Rotor isn’t bad but the bike could use a new one. Lastly the chain tensioner is a fucked up old 105 derailleur.
