1978 Seafarer 26 Sailboat by McCurdy and Rhodes

Selling my 1978 Seafarer 26' Sailboat. 9.9 hp longshaft Johnson outboard, with removable gas tank. Runs fine. Autopilot, mounted compass, coast guard required items (Flares, fire extinguisher, 4 life jackets, 3 throw cushions, etc). VHF mounted radio, depth finder, navigation device, bilge pump. 2 sails, main and jib, both in good condition. 2 anchors included (1 large and 1 that came with the boat). Electronic start, as well as, pulse start. Can sleep 5/6 people. Below deck its 6'2" clearance. When you step below there is a kitchen with a sink, microwave, toaster oven, ice bin, radio, electrical outlets to run whatever you want. A bulkhead mounted table transforms cabin into a nice dining area. Plenty of storage space. In main kitchen cabin there are 2 sleeping areas. 1 is a pullout twin bed on the other side is a double. There is a bathroom, which can be separated by doors from the sleeping quarters to the main kitchen/cabin. Bathroom has sink, shower, toilet, and extra storage. Additional electrical outlets in bathroom as well. Shower drains into bilge, or you can bring it above deck through the hatch. Water tank is located below bed and easily refillable. Forward cabin has main sleeping area. Many hatches to get plenty of light and air. 30 amp electric. Electrical cord included. 2 batteries, as well as, solar panel to maintain batteries. The boat was kept in freshwater its whole life. Originating in Huntington NY made by McCurdy and Rhodes. The guy i got the sailboat from, sailed it from NY to Florida on his own a few years ago. It's a rare boat and it has been kept in good condition over the years. Fiberglass material. Gross tons 7.2. Lead keel. 26' long 9' wide 4.5 draft. The Seafarer 26 is for sailing, as far and as wide as you dare. In heavy weather shes strong and stable, built to withstand oceans. Currently at Casey Key Marina.
