Description
Selling my 1993 Washburn MG-70 Mercury Series guitar, made in Japan at the Kasuga factory. These were Washburn’s higher-end Mercury models, built with excellent craftsmanship and playability. Specs & Upgrades: • Made in Japan (Kasuga factory, 1993) • H–S–H configuration • Bridge: DiMarzio Crunch Lab (modern high-output humbucker) • Neck + Middle: Bill Lawrence rail pickups (smooth, clear, noiseless) • 5-way switch with coil-splitting positions • Takeuchi floating tremolo (Japanese Floyd Rose–style) • Slim maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale • Factory hard shell case included This guitar plays fast, stays in tune, and sounds amazing — from heavy crunch to smooth leads and clean tones. A real shred-ready classic with quality upgrades. 💵 Asking $500 (firm but fair for a Japanese-built MG-70 with upgrades and case).
