I bought this and a Silhouette Portrait brand new as additions to my current Silhouette 4 Pro. I love silhouette and largely prefer it over Cricut due to the flexibility of Silhouette Studio (their software). That being said, Cricut software is definitely more intuitive for first time users. Silhouette offers A LOT of customizations, even down to using different cutting pressures for one project. But it's still pretty easy to learn. Silhouette is more geared towards heavy/professional usage vs a Cricut. I ended up not using the Silhouette 3 because the portable size of the Portrait was a great compliment to my ginormous Pro 4 lol So this is brand new, never been opened. If you are interested in making your own: Vinyl cutting Decals Stickers Fabric transfers Invitations Party decorations Scrapbooking 3D paper crafts and sculptures Signs / Signage Puzzles Stencils Sewing patterns Magnets Labels Puzzles Temporary tattoos etc this is an awesome machine. It's highly accurate and has more cut force than a Cricut and is more accurate for Print and Cut. This guy can also support Vinyl cuts up to 10' long via roll feeding which can be awesome for large signs and stuff. Although not as tiny as the Portrait this guy is still super light and portable. I can meet in St Helens, Scappoose or Tanasbourne 💚
