The Kobo Aura One, a 7.8-inch e-reader, is available for $150. This device features a waterproof design, an E Ink Carta HD touchscreen display with a 300 ppi screen, and 8 GB of storage, capable of holding up to 6,000 eBooks. It boasts a battery life of up to one month, a 1 GHz processor, and 512 MB of RAM. The Kobo Aura One is compatible with OverDrive, enabling users to borrow eBooks from most public libraries, and supports PDF reading. In the Kobo Aura One, you can select different fonts and also increase or decrease the size. The backlight is customizable to your preferences from warm to cold and 0%-100% of brightness. It charges via micro USB, although the cable is not included. In my opinion, it is an excellent e-reader. I have never tested its waterproof capabilities. The device functions flawlessly, with a smooth screen. I will perform a factory reset. It has a faint line at the bottom of the screen which is barley noticeable and does not affect functionality. It does not disrupts reading. You can try to see it in the last picture, 3rd row from bottom to top, right above where it says "Sometimes they ask me which beach..."
