Classic Frigidaire Flair Custom Imperial Range

For sale is an electric 1965 Frigidaire Flair 40" Custom Imperial range (Model RCI-645J) with matching storage base. These mid-century modern ranges are a part of American design history, and were seen regularly on Mad Men, Bewitched, and other shows filmed or set in the era. Got an Eames chair in the living room? You need one of these in the kitchen! They are truly unique conversation pieces with tons of cooking power. Everything is in great working order except the clock (and obviously, clock functions), and the light in the small oven. The base needs some cosmetic work, but the range itself it in fantastic cosmetic and mechanical condition, and otherwise everything is in remarkable shape for its age. As shown in the picture of the control panel, the range comes with the correct outlet and Murray circuit breaker as shown. A few notes: (1) This range is 40" wide, which is NOT a standard opening nowadays (24", 30", 36" and 42" are now standard). Please measure your range opening to make sure this will fit before asking other questions. To be clear, no, it will NOT fit a 30" or 36" opening! (2) You will need a 220 x 50 amp circuit. I am including the circuit and outlet, but you are responsible for the wiring. (3) This is HEAVY. Not sure of the exact weight, but I am guessing...
