I bought it as a project myself from a friend he had gone through two starters this being second one it was working fine for a few months then just shit out. Unfortunately my friend was a victim of arson and during that incident the person who committed the arson also broke out passenger side window to the truck as well as spider web the windshield. Thinking truck still belong to previous owner. Not knowing the truck had been sold to me. The truck's definitely a project but going to take much to get it going I imagine a skillful mechanically inclined individual could drive it home. Without much effort. I started to work on it and attempted to get the starter put up with the shim but I didn't get the wires back on the starter before dark had set in. I think you can be as close of action would be to remove the inspection panel and go from there.
