This is a small American kneehole writing desk * Six drawers — three on each side, with no center drawer. * A recessed kneehole in the center. * Turned and fluted legs, with particularly elaborate turning toward the feet. * A molded/overhanging rectangular top. * Scalloped or shaped drawer aprons and drawer dividers. * Oval brass-colored ring pulls. * A fairly dark, reddish-brown finish. * Solid-looking construction rather than the thin, veneered appearance of many inexpensive reproductions. Must be picked up in Pittsburgh.
