Description

This is a genuine 1970 Royal Copenhagen annual Christmas plate (juleplatte), titled “Julrose og Kat” / “Christmas Rose and Cat” (also described officially as “Cat on a Windowsill with a Snow-covered Landscape”). Made in Denmark. Approximately 7¼ inches in diameter. Removable spring bracket to hang on the wall. Fine porcelain with hand-painted underglaze cobalt-blue decoration on a white ground. The border features the classic pine-cone/spruce motif that became standard in the series.
