1920's Fiancee Karess Woodworth Compact Vintage Powder Rouge Silver Enamel RARE This is an extremely rare and lovely silver tone and burnt orange enamel Fiancée Karess Woodworth powder and rouge compact from the 1920's. The piece is silver tone with an intricate raised design on the lid; and is enameled in a burnt orange color enamel that is in the lower portion of the lid design. It is in very good condition; with only slight age appropriate wear to the bottom of the compact. The mirror is in good condition, with no chips, cracks or breaks, but does have some haze. It measures 3 1/4 inches in length by 2 inches in width at the widest point. The hinge and clasp are in perfect working condition; and it opens to a empty powder compartment with powder plate, as well as a handmade powder puff. The smaller compartment opens to the empty place for rouge, and has a matching handmade powder puff. It is hallmarked "Fiancée Woodworth" below the mirror.
