Vintage Japanese six-panel folding screen (byōbu) featuring hand-painted pheasants, birds, peonies, and floral motifs on a black lacquer-style background. Beautiful decorative statement piece with traditional Asian artwork on both sides. Original age-related wear, including scuffs, paint loss, and some missing hinge hardware, consistent with its age. Still displays beautifully and folds as intended. Approximate age believed to be late 19th to early 20th century. Sold as-is. Local pickup only. Its also ridiculously heavy.
