I have six wood block prints for a larger collection, "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" series by the renowned artist Utagawa Hiroshige 1. The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by Hokusai 2. The Sagami River" (Sagamigawa) 3. "Toto Ryogoku" (Ryogoku Bridge in the Eastern Capital) 4. Fuji River in Suruga Province" (Suruga Fujikawa) 5. The Sumida River Embankment in Edo" (Toto Sumida-tsutsumi) 6. "The Sea off Satta in Suruga Province". As best as I can tell this calendar with the collectible prints inside that are attached at the top edge of the artwork was released late 1945 in occupied, Japan. This is a six page calendar with a cover sheet that says happy new year. I have not been able to find a single other example anywhere with the six pieces of art that are genuine wood block pieces. The first page or cover page has a little discoloration, but all other pages are pristine, and the six wood blocks in particular are absolutely perfect with perfect corners and would grade very high!
