KiwiCo "Make It Yourself" Record Racer - NIB

The KiwiCo Make It Yourself Record Racer is an engineering and electronics science kit designed for kids ages 9 and up. It allows children to build a functional mechanical racing game where they steer a miniature car across a spinning, circular racetrack. Electronic Speed Control: The kit includes a functional potentiometer that teaches kids how electrical resistance works by letting them manually dial the speed up or down. Mechanical Steering: Drivers use a steering mechanism to navigate the car through changing paths. Customizable Difficulty: It comes with a 14-piece obstacle set, letting kids position moving hurdles to make the racetrack easier or harder to conquer. Comprehensive Kit: The set includes 34 wooden pieces, a motor, a battery pack, track clips, tools (like a screwdriver and tri-wrench), and an illustrated step-by-step instruction guide.
