This is a handsome, good quality Queen headboard and foot board combo. It is a somewhat modern style, very stylish design. I believe it is pleather with a pretty chrome finish. It is quite heavy and very sturdy and in good condition. From normal use, it does a little rusty spots here and there and the pleather has a little bit of wear, but as you can see from the front photo it doesn't show much at all. The headboard can be used alone. If you are a DIY'er, the metal can be sprayed and the pleather, if you prefer a more cottage feel like I planned to do (white metal and a pretty fabric), can easily be covered with fabric very easily, and just stapled on. Easy peasy! It really has so many possibilities and the styles are endless, but it is really a handsome set with so much life left. *Rails are not included. I really think you will like this set!
