LARGE BRAND NEW Celebrate 100 years of Club de Fútbol América. Formed in Mexico City in 1916 by a group of college students, América played in the early Mexican Football League, then, in 1942, the newly formed Liga Mayor. The Eagles won their first professional league title in 1965. Today, América is one of the most successful teams in the country. Mixing club colors blue and yellow, the Eaglesreturn to a green third jersey. It features a gradient design of dark green fading to light on the body, and dark green sleeves. Embroidered badge. The logos are white. Black and green stripes run down the sides that expand with player movement. During a season of centennial celebrations, Nike has included a special commemorative patch on the jerseys. The iconic continents of the Americas are circled with "Centenario De Leyenda" (Century of Legend) 1916-2016. A small "100" tag is sewn on the back collar.
