1987 Gulf Coast Conservation Association (GCCA) Original Oil-"Kingfish" by Mike Stidham. 2,900 signed and numbered prints of this Original Oil were sold by GCCA in 1987 as their major fundraiser in Houston, Texas. 18" x 12.5" . Mike Stidham was and is a famous and very popular wildlife artist. This published painting should be owned by a collector of art. Painting was hanging in my office for over 30 years and the grouping of the 3 framed pieces were always a great conversation starter especially because the painting by Stidham was the main fund raiser by GCCA selling the 2,900 signed and numbered prints. At the 1987 GCCA auction in Houston, 5 signed PRINTS numbered 1/2900 sold for $15,000, including this 1987 Kingfish 1/2900. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL.
