Masi CCCP Olympic 96694R 52 M6 Masi CCCP Soviet team bike Number 6 of 8.(M6). This Team USSR bicycle sat disassembled in the box for twenty years. It has never been ridden. In perfect condition. My friends Father help to fund Masi in the Eighties. Masi at the time were built in Carlsbad California then sent back to Italy for the paint jobs. This bike was gifted to Skip Keizer’s as a thank you for helping to fund the Company. TheSoviet team was banned from the 1988 Summer Olympics therefore the eight team bicycles were not used. Notice the USA And Soviet Hammer and Sickle on the top tube This is not one of the 100 CCCP Masis that were built prior . If you notice the Ergo Power shifting which came later than the 100 built prior. This is a rare find and deserves to be in a collection. Assembled at Laguna Cycles in Laguna beach California. She has been safely hanging in my garage for the last ten years or so. Notice the chain is virgin as is the whole bicycle. The tires are original and in perfect condition. All Campagnolo record.
