Large vintage Southeast Asian (Burmese/Thai) Kalaga tapestry. Features intricate hand-embroidered metallic threads, glass beads, and glittering sequins on a dark fabric backing. Depicts a family of six padded (3D stumpwork) elephants, symbolizing strength and good fortune. Excellent condition. I find no missing sequins or beads Framed and double matted. 41 inches wide x 29 inches high. Fabric appears to be a cotton foundation. Pickup in El Cajon
