Rare 1965 DA Vintage Early Schwinn Stingray Slik Chik Lime Original Paint

DA April early rare 1965 Schwinn Stingray Slik Chik in really nice original paint Flamboyant Lime. Matching numbers frame, fork and crank. The chain guard is original to this frame. This bike was in a long time California collector’s collection that passed away and I purchased the bike from his brother. There are no issues with this bike. NOS or polished hardware throughout. Looks like a fairly amateur seat restoration using a 70’s seat pan and white tuft material that presents well with an NOS 8434 Cat Eye seat reflector. Small tear on left side rear bottom of the seat rear where the strut mounts that can’t be seen. Period correct full size pedals that could use a polishing. New reproduction whitewall tires front and rear. New old stock chrome reproduction axle mount strut. Nice original chrome razor edge fenders front and rear (same fenders used on a shorty frame). New reproduction white chubby grips. 63-64 Schwinn Stingray handlebars with weak chrome mounted on a Schwinn (non Stingray) stem. Nice original chrome rear center stamped S2 with one small ding, spins good. Front reverse stamped S7 with nice original chrome. I don’t see any dings. Only the “S7” is visible on the stamp. The S7 also spins good. Overall this is a really nice original paint bike that’s hard to find in this condition and ready for someone’s wife or daughter to ride without having to worry about destroying an original seat and original tires or if riding a girl’s bike is your thing because they are easier to get on and off of this bike is for you.
