Made of pine wood and sealed to protect against liquids. With handles for easy transport. Make sure to provide the dimensions of your stove before you buy it. Many of our finishes require several steps in the painting process. Each is unique and truly "unique". I try to maintain the natural character of the wood. Two pieces are never the same - wood, notches and wear vary from each plate. We seal it for easy cleaning, but please do not place hot pots or use your beautiful stove top cover as a board. :) The tray helps protect the cooktop from damage, hides it and provides extra space for the buffet during entertainment.
