Description
Boat is a 1992 20.1 foot Bay-liner Trophy. The motor is a 2001 Honda BF130A1 LA BZBE-1200111. 130 HP four stroke fuel injected. I bought the engine from my next-door neighbor who actually had dual engines sold one and fix this one, once I got it running I noticed compression was a bit low on two cylinders so pulled the head out and it didn’t look good. found out that Honda has a service bulletin for the heads on that particular year Engine and the water port on them not probably ported so they were selling an updated head for them, I bought a brand new head from Honda and install it with gaskets and everything. Along with having the injectors sonic cleaned new filters, and so forth, the engine runs great no overheating or starting issues. Forgot new head bolts were also installed along with the new head. also replaced fuel lines and filter. The display never shows any engine codes or warnings when I use it. I have to check, but this is at least three years ago and I’ve had no problems with the engine since. The trailer was completely gone through Leaf Springs U-boats bearings lights. The tire threads are good and they don’t show any cracks but if I was to trailer it a lot I would put new tires on it, but that is an option. I have pictures of when I was doing the trailer. The boat is water, ready, basically what you need to know is that I believe one of the batteries are a little weak, so it may need battery replacement soon. All the pumps, including the bilge auxiliary pumps are new along with the wiring. Battery cables. Battery select switch. All the wiring under the dash was redone. And I’m forgetting a lot more that was done. The fuel tank was removed, thoroughly cleaned and checked for leaks. All the fuel lines from the tank to the engine, the in-line filter, and and water separator and the line for filling the tank brand new. The bottom paint may have a few small scratches, but it was repainted while the trailer was being done. Have pictures of that as well. Forgot to mention also. The forward accelerator cable is getting a little hard. It still works fine though but the throttle cables could probably use replacement eventually. The steering cable was replaced also less than two years ago No soft spots. When the tank was done, and the bottom of the boat was uncovered, everything was checked, the stringers are perfect. The wood under the storage section the compartments on front was all replaced and properly fiberglass. Also, some reinforcement was done on some crossmembers around the front fuel tank area, got pictures of all the work done.
