These have the least significant imperfections with the chrome plated finish, primarily surface scratches from sanding the base metal that are magnified by the chrome plating. These are AMERICAN-MADE Aerospeed Crank Arms, which are no longer made in the USA! THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR THE MODERN-ERA PRO RACER, HOLLYWOOD, XL24, XL26, xl29 AND ANY OTHER BRAND'S MODERN RACE FRAME. (do not use for the vintage 1980's frames). Hutch Aerospeed spline-drive crank arms use today's newest technology that eliminates the sprocket boss while reducing weight. This "no-boss, spline-drive" configuration uses a steel 48-spline insert on the sprocket or spider for the forward engagement. The sprocket boss is thus eliminated. These 180 mm Aerospeed arms are designed for use with any of today's modern race frames with a euro bottom bracket.  This item is designed to work best with the following parts: 1. Outboard Euro bottom bracket with 19mm bearing size. (not included) 2. Hutch spline-drive star Spider.  (not included) 3. 19mm 48-spline spindle that is 6" length. (not included) Aerospeed's are a 6-sided, double-tapered crank arm. Aerospeed's are also lighter weight than the leading USA-made swaged-tube chromoly race cranks. Aerospeed's are also the strongest 4130 chromoly crank arm made. Includes a premium "show" quality chrome-plated finish, 2 titanium bolts/washers, and Ti-Prep.
