Description

A beautiful classic Seiko watch from the Lord Marvel line reference 5740-1990 is up for sale. Before the debut of the initial Grand Seiko timepiece in 1960, the highest point in Seiko's product lineup was held by Lord Marvel. This timepiece was introduced in 1958 as an upgrade to the Marvel series launched earlier. Lord Marvel was positioned as a high-end model just beneath the Grand Seiko powered by the caliber 5740A movement - a slightly adjusted version of the caliber 3180 found in the initial Grand Seiko timepiece. This particular watch is in excellent condition. The silver grey tone dial has a brushed finish and is in flawless condition. The case is in its original polish and the crystal is in good shape.
