I have a very clean 1989 Mazda 323. It’s a 5 Speed 1.6L NA with just 90000 miles. It’s a very strong runner, very reliable, fun/sporty, and fuel efficient. I’ve owned for about 3 years now and just don’t drive it enough. I’ve put on about 12k miles since owning. Have two kids under 2 and just don’t have the time for it. Very well maintained. Interior is pretty mint will upload pictures soon. Drive it from Federal Way to Seattle when using it for work. Also have taking multiple drives to Eastern Washington and Oregon without any issues. Cons-Winshield does have a crack, just behind steering wheel hasn’t bothered me and haven’t gotten around to it. Had a pinhole in muffler when I purchased it, tried to weld with no success so cut off. Sounds good and has no run ability problems. Can easily put a muffler in if you wanted.
