Description

1989 Establishment Pinnacle 19' class A. Stored in Lake Isabella, CA. Priced to sell. This unit would make an excellent base for a rebuild project. Very low 22,800 actual miles on a Chevy 454 P30 chassis. Engine is outfitted with a Banks Engineering power package that includes full stainless-steel headers with a 5/8" thick manifold that seals to engine block without a troublesome manifold gasket. Exhaust was opened all the way through to a single-side collector/exhaust. The Banks system was installed when I had to address a leaky manifold gasket and the repair for one side of the engine was going to be over $2,000, and there would be no guarantee that the stock gasket would last any longer than the original. The Banks system was over $3,500 installed but because there is no manifold gasket to leak, there will never again be a problem with a leaky manifold gasket. The Banks system radically improved the on-road performance of the motor home. Where it struggled to pull when the automatic transmission shifted into second gear, the Banks system made a HUGE difference. The engine pulls hard through the shift points and does not "fall off" the power as it smoothly accelerates up through the gears. At 19' the unit drives like a dream and is much easier to park. The RV was running fine when parked but over the years the rubber diaphragm in the fuel pump degraded and gas was not being pumped to the carburetor. The fuel pump was replaced with an electric unit; however, there was no gas in the tank to test it. I'm confident you could add gas, install a new battery, and it will start and run just fine. Unit has a clear title and comes with a one-day DMV permit that allows it to be driven to a smog station for registration. It has been on a Planned Non-Operative (PNO) with the DMV so there will be no surprises at registration (cost estimated at approximately $200, not including the smog check). It can be viewed at a local storage facility in Lake Isabella, CA, which will be identified for serious buyers. I'm asking for a very reasonable $3,900 OBO. With a little care and low-cost mods, this unit can provide many more years of cost-effective operation.
