Selling my 2003 Mercedes SL500 (R230) — auction buy that ended up being more of a project than we can take on. Best for a mechanic, someone familiar with Mercedes, or anyone needing a strong parts donor. Condition / Details: •Hydraulic ABC suspension pump is salvaged •Suspension does not rise → engine limited to ~4k RPM •Engine starts and runs with a jump (needs new batteries) •Hardtop does NOT open •Mixed tires • Bad brakes(car cannot be driven) • Interior is rough — some panels held with duct tape and drywall screws • Not an AMG • Exterior/body panels are decent • Sold AS-IS, project car Still has many good parts: engine, transmission, body panels, lights, electronics, convertible top hardware, wheels, etc. • Whole car: $1500 (firm) • Individual parts: negotiable Message me if you’re interested or need specific parts checked.
