Description
I have for sale a vintage Pattern Makers League of North America ribbon badge with a pin on the back. It was to represent the 20th Convention in Cincinnati Ohio on June 17th, 1946. I believe the badge and nameplate are made of brass with a blue cloth ribbon. The Pattern Makers of N.A. were established in 1887 and were basically a labor union that represented pattern makers. The name was changed in 1991 to the International Organization of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. The badge has no damage, and it comes with the original faux leather case that can be buttoned close. The nameplate with the pin on the back has the original owners name under a thin plastic film for protection. The entire piece measures 4" x 2". The back of the badge has 4 makers marks with the main one being the Bastian Bros. in Rochester N.Y. Overall a great item to add to any collection. Any Questions? Just Ask! Check out my other listings for more vintage and useful items.
