MID-CENTURY POCKET CROSS/WHISTLE

Made out of pewter (I'm guessing) with handmade copper wire vest. It appears to have been made as a pocket cross then transposed into a whistle simply by grinding out a piece of the round head brads holding it together. I believe it to be mid-century; possibly a Welsh piece, but I'm not sure. The whistle does have a pleasing sound to it. I found it under a bridge many, many years ago. There's one spot where the copper vest has worn off at the back but I do still have the piece. Send me an offer. I haven't a clue of its value; I've not found anything even closely sharing its appearance and there are no identifiable markings anywhere on it.
