Gorgeous French Empire bureau plat or desk - Classic piece of French furniture in beautiful condition. - Green Fleur De Lis leather tooled writing surface with gilt-bronze ormolu mounts. Inlaid parquetry details. - One of the great and original features of this desk is the fact it extends via the two slats at the side so you can have more working surface, a great feature. Excellent vintage condition with few superficial nicks and finish loss. All drawers function properly. Structurally sound and sturdy.
