Description

$2,800 OBO JUST A HEADS UP, I WILL NOT BE REPLYING TO MESSAGES ASKING IF THE CAR IS STILL AVAILABLE. IF YOU CAN SEE THIS AD, THE CAR IS STILL AVAILABLE. THANK YOU. The car runs but needs repairs. Good project for a mechanic or DIYer. I’m selling my 2014 Ford Escape. It’s very clean inside and out, has low mileage (148,572), a backup camera, a clean title, and comes with a spare key. The car starts and runs, but overheats if driven for more than a short distance, so it will need to be towed. This would be a great project for a mechanic or someone with a trusted shop. In excellent condition, this car would sell for $6,000–$8,000 in the DC area. I’m selling because I’m not handy enough to fix it myself and don’t have a mechanic friend who can do the work at a fair price. Things that need attention to bring it to excellent condition: Oil change Change air filter as it is starting to get dirty Tire rotation Tire tread: left front tire tread and right front tire tread Bulbs & lights: passenger-side reverse light bulb Steering: control arms/tie rod/CV boots/axle/ball joints: replace both front lower control arms along with both front sway bar end links Fluid leaks: replace valve cover gasket along with an undercarriage cleaning due to fluid covering the back of the engine Check condition of battery & terminals (storage capacity test if applicable): battery test indicates battery is starting to fail (460/590 CCA), charging percentage is around 60% indicating that the alternator could also be starting to fail Replace heater core hoses, which includes replacing fan assembly with the module, thermostat with housing, and both coolant temperature sensors Price: $2,800 OBO Location: Washington, DC Metro Area Title: Clean Transmission: Automatic Engine: Gasoline Mileage: 148,572 Condition: Runs but not drivable long distances This is a solid deal for a mechanic or someone looking for a low-mileage Escape to fix up. Message me if interested; car will need to be towed.
